Goldenrod Montessori School

We are driven by the Wildflower principles of a commitment to nature, community involvement and racial/social justice through an equitable school. We are committed to promoting and creating peace. We want children of various backgrounds, and socio-economic levels to work together to create opportunities for positive life choices, and for a better world. Our focus will be on the development of each child’s life. We want to give them the best experience possible through Montessori education, so that they will be “the new child” that Maria Montessori imagined. By doing so, they can be healed from the brain trauma that racism and the legacy of racism in education have inflicted upon children and their parents and become healthy and flourish in an atmosphere of joy “so frank and free as they live their lives to the fullest in a Montessori environment” (Maria Montessori).
